Bought this fridge at the end of January 2023. Sometime in April of 2023 it just died. Shut down even though the wall outlet had power. Weeks later after the very very nice tech determined that I needed a new compressor and a new electronic board all of which he installed the fridge is up and running. NOT HAPPY AT ALL

I bought my Refrigerator two years ago. Overall I am very pleased. The freezer quit freezing a couple of months agIo but still kept things cold. Thank goodness it had a 5 year manufacturer warranty and cost nothing to repair. My only complaint is the first contractor they called out didnt know what he was doing. He claimed it was fixed and I believed him. I bought groceries only to wake up the next morning with a room temperature fridge and a loss of hundred dollars worth of food. I requested a different service company and it was fixed no problem.

Weve had this fridge for several weeks and so far so good. Nice and big quiet and great lighting. Id give it 5 stars except for the crazy design of the door top hinges. Its a crazy and difficult hook design instead of just simple bolts to hold the top hinges. Apparently a new engineer wanted to look like he was smarter than just a few small bolts. We bought this at a scratch and dent store so got a great deal. Id never spend the regular price for this fridge. Who needs their fridge connected to the Internet? We wont be doing that. Only the woke would give the authorities access to control their fridge settings.

This refrigerator is the best one Ive ever had I love how sleek and shiny it is. It leaves no fingerprints. We can barely see smudges. The inside is huge. Theres plenty of room for plenty of stuff. I love the two ice makers. I go through ice like its nothing so thats perfect for someone like me. The freezer fits so much stuff and it stays super cold The Wi-Fi function is easy to use. Its not loud when it makes a noise. Im hoping to get one for our garage top

We have flushed the lines changed the filter to no avail. The water and ice taste like drinking out of the garden hose on a hot summer day. Its really sad as we like the ice and water feature in a frig and have had one for years.

I like the look of this unit and fits great in my home. I had some problems with the ice make. I called my local furniture store where I purchased the unit. They were no help. I had a little trouble at first getting LG to help. I finally got the right guy and he was able to send me some photos and helped me get it going without a service call.

Ive never owned a smart fridge before but what is really neat about owning one is that I can remotely check and control the temperature and monitor my fridge on an app. This fridge comes with a lot of amazing features that my previous fridge didnt have. It has an all around cooling system that evenly cools everything inside. If the doors are left open for too long the fridge will beep and flash the light on and off. There is a ton of space inside the fridge and plenty of storage. In the freezer below is the ice maker that makes ice consistency so youll never run out. The freezer is deep and also has a top portion drawer for easy access to items used everyday. Overall Im very satisfied with the quality and overall sleek design of this fridge and would recommend purchasing one the next time you are in the market for a new fridge or looking to upgrade. LG wont let you down.

My old side by side was driving me crazy and this replaced it. I love the freezer on the bottom with the ice maker drawer and binds. It holds a lot of food without things getting lost. The refrigerator on the top has plenty of space and it is easy to organize and see things. The ice maker is easy to use and access. Had to take out a pantry to make room and it was worth it.

This refrigerator failed beyond repair per the LG service tech. If I could have provided the original receipt LG would have discounted a replacement. The email from LG asking for this review listed the purchase date So LG knew all along that the refrigerator was less than 5 years old. Read the fine print on your warranty and save your receipts...which I didnt.

Very satisfied with the functionality of the refrigerator/freezer. More than enough space for everything. Easier to clean than my last French door refrigerator as there is less crevices and places that were very hard to get to on the previous frig. A surprise bonus was the second ice maker in the drawer. Shelves are easy to readjust for just the right height.

This refrigerator is so much more spacious than our last one. I love the freezer on the bottom and the French doors. The Wi-Fi enablement doesnt do much for me but some people with more tech experience than I have would probably enjoy that feature. Lots and lots of room and easy to remove parts to clean.

It has 26 cu ft of storage in it it has dual ice makers so you get twice the ice it has a the ice maker hidden in the door its very simple to get to and doesnt take up any room from the groceries. In the door you can get water and whole ice or crushed iced you can simply knock twice on the door panel to see what inside the refrigerator to illuminate the contents of the inside. All of the shelf and drawers can be rearranged to suit your needs. You will not worry about loosing cold air from the freezer it has a smart pull handle which makes it a breeze and it also has sliding shelves to keep things separated. It also is wifi enabled to send alerts to your phone should anything go wrong with the mechanical system . Its has alot of shelves and places to store your grocery. I love this refrigerator I dont know how I managed before.

This fridge has been great so far. Weve only had if for 2 and a half weeks so I cant comment on its long term success yet. Our previous fridge crapped out in under 2 years. This one is much quieter when it is running and has 2 different ice makers which makes the family of 5 happy. The only thing that I can say bad about it is that when the ice makers refill or someone uses the water dispenser it is quite loud. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the noise issue and due to the fact that we havent had it for very long. If I still feel this way about it in 10 years it would be 5 stars all around.

We spent about 1k more on this fridge than the one I was supposed to get but that one came damaged so ...I needed a refridgerator like yesterday so I splurged on this since it came in three day. It is a pretty appliance I love the look and I like that the ice storage is in the door however there are a few things I dont like about it. It has an alarm if the door is open longer than 60 seconds and you CANNOT disable it which I feel is ridiculous. Also the shelves cannot be adjusted to one height on one side and a different height on the other side. Another thing you need to have both doors open to open up the deli drawer which is one big drawer the length of the refriderator. The doors of the fridge also are kind of loud when you close them. It does run quietly and Im sure I will get used to it...

Lots of room/extra ice

I bought this a month ago to replace another brand. I love the extra space inside since the slim line ice maker is in the door and its easy to empty. We also got the 2nd ice maker that drops ice automatically in the freezer. We didnt run out of ice at our last party.

This is similar to the last LG refrigerator that I purchased that became unrepairable after only ~8 years. LGs local repair expert charged me for a repair but was unable to fix it. Hoping that this newer model doesnt run into the same problems. I like that this new model makes more ice.

i had an LG fridge before and the compressor went out very early. i was leary about getting another one but LG gave me a great discount due to the previous experience. I wish the freezer had a little more room but i have an upright freezer so its okay. no problems cooling i can turn on ice plus from my phone even if im not homei can run diagnostics on it if it starts acting funny and i can keep my food from spoiling with the LG app that helps me track my food expiration dates.

LG French Door Refrigerator

It has been six months and the only problems I had was with the ice maker in the door. If left too long the ice forms in a clump and makes it inoperable. After a storm and power out for two days the ice maker in the door stopped working. I called customer support and was told to push the reset button.

We just got this two weeks ago and Im absolutely in love with it. It is so big and beautiful no matter how much I shop I never run out of space. Plus the double ice maker is so awesome We would always run out of ice before but since we got this we havent not once Plus the Wi-Fi is such a plus I didnt think I would be able to set it up but it was so easy and took minutes for it to be online on my iPhone. This is the 2nd LG fridge Ive purchased and never will buy any other one again. This fridge looks so beautiful in my kitchen Im still finding new things to love about it daily

Good upgrade from our previous refrigerator.

Love the dual ice makers. Miss the butter shelf on the door. Had trouble leveling the refrigerator to get the doors to stay open. Had to jury rig spacers under one adjustment foot to get it level left to right. Now it is leaning back too much. I figured it was from an unlevel floor. Everything else is great with the unit.

We just had to replace a circuit board and a fan on this model that was less than 3 years old Of course the warranty had expired so the cost was $700 The technician told us that the circuit board fans on this model are very sensitive he expects to get a lot of calls in the next few years Beware consumers

Black stainless fridge

I had the LG Black Stainless refrigerators in each of my other 2 homes. Black Stainless really makes the kitchen look classy. I like the fact that I get a text when the filter needs changed or the temperature is not correct. If I am away and the power is out I can check when the power comes on and tell if anything will be spoiled. I did have a compressor problem on one of them but they were able to evaluate the issue and have the part when they came.

Nice Fridge

I would give this 5 stars but upon delivery and installing the handles...there was an issue. I called LG the very next day on 11/3 for a replacement part and have yet to receive it. The piece that goes inside the left side of the freezer handle which holds it on the fridge with a set screw is faulty and you cant tighten the screw. Its now 11/21 and I still cant attach the freezer handle. Hope this isnt an early indication of how good the warranty is Im attaching a picture of the piece this goes INSIDE the handle.

1 year old and 2 repairs

I bought this fridge a year ago and it took over 2 months to have Home Depot deliver it. I had code FF E this week and had it fixed yesterday morning yesterday afternoon it started with a new code 1F E. I have had it 1 year almost to the date and now working on my 2nd repair.
