I bought this because my other dryer crapped out on me. I liked the simplicity of the buttons and the option for app/technology to be more efficient. I do have to utilize the extra time for drying button because my laundry loads are large. overall I do like the dryer and its functionality.

We bought this a month ago. So far its worked well. My only 2 issues with it so far are: 1 Theres no preset option other than delicates for a low-temperature dry but 80-85 of our clothes now require a low-temperature dry. So I have to do a timed dry for most of my loads 2 I did preset dry for a load of towels which should have used the sensor dry feature but they werent dry and so had to be run again. Disappointing.

Been using the dryer for several weeks and its working perfectly. It is really easy to program the load type and I like the electronic controls. The build quality seems really good. My previous dryer lasted almost 30 years. Doubt this will match that but believe it is a good unit

Ive had this dryer for two weeks. I love that it is an energy saver and I love the countdown feature. However I have had two washes so far that the sensor said the dryer was done however the clothes were damp at the end of the cycle. The dryer was a good value and Im sure with a little bit of operator finesse. It will be perfect.

This is a beautiful dryer that matches our very nice LG washing machine. Unfortunately it isnt a very good dryer. Its sensor leaves clothes with damp spots even when the control is set on very dry. There is no internal light. Clothes tend to fall out when removed because the door opens to the right which also makes it hard to move clothes from the washing machine which is on the right. And the controls are a pain because they require repeated touch to work.

We bought it because LG had good ratings but the verdict is still out. Starting using it in January 2023. Wouldnt dry the completely in one run. Thought it might be the exhaust ductwork. Redid it myself bit it wasnt the problem. Under warranty and we are working with LG to get it corrected. LG technician been here three time. Knowledgeable and polite but the dryer still isnt working as expected. Better but not correct. It appears to be the delicate cycle which is important to both the wife and I.

I have only had this dryer for 11 days. I do laundry frequently so I have used it for 3 laundry days. The dial is so easy to turn. Some I looked at in the stores were really difficult. I am happy with the cycle selections and I have figured out what works best for me. The sensor settings are working well
I am also really happy with the lint trap. I know that sounds silly but many of the other dryers I looked at had lint traps that were tiny and difficult to get in and out. This one is perfect I also wanted one on the front of the dryer not the top and this was the best that I found. I also wanted a door that opened to the side since I am short and didnt want to overcome the dryer door to get my clothes out. Finally I wanted a door that felt substantial not flimsy or difficult to open and close. This one is great.
Finally I needed one in my price range and this is a great dryer for the price. If it holds up over time I will be a thrilled customer

Ive had this dryer for a month and it is excellent. Drying is really well done and if I just want to leave some clothes damp it does it also. There are a lot of features available on a machine that really didnt cost that much.

Terrible. The dryer is loud and constantly rattles. The motor went out after 2 years of use and I now will have to buy another dryer because the cost to replace the motor ia almost the same price what I paid. I will not buy another LG product

Clothes do not dry when I set the dryer to sensor dry. I always have to put them back in for 20-30 minutes. We have had the dryer just a few weeks so it could be that I am still learning.

Our old dryer still worked well but o of the plastic tumbler fins in the drum snapped off which made the clothes ball up and they wouldnt dry well at all. Since it was about 15 years old we just replaced it rather than repair it. The LG had all the features we need it was priced well plus our utility paid us a $100 Energy Star rebate. It was easy to install and its working quite well. Its also very quiet which I appreciate. I hope it has the durability of my last dryer but time will tell So far Im pleased with the purchase.

My sister and I have had this about a month and a half now. We got it after moving to a new apartment. It was such a good decision My sister and I havent had any problems. The moisture sensors are amazing at adjusting time either to add more if the clothes arent dry or lessening the time if theyre drying quickly. I love the dryer so much. Definitely a great investment

Our washer was doing a slow death. Hubby decided to surprise me and added on the matching dryer when he ordered the LG washer. I am SOOOO happy that he did. This dryer works great - even drying and lots of options. Buttons are easy to understand it even sings a song when its finished not just an annoying BEEP.

Bought 4 months ago and the lint door guide is broken after normal use. LG wont ship another under warranty. Dryer doesnt dry in normal mode. If you want high heat you have to use heavy duty option. Clothes are always wrinkled even when removed immediately after dry cycle. Hate it.

Since we have only had this dryer since the end of January 2023 an evaluation of long-term reliability is not possible but we are quite satisfied with the unit thus far. Our laundry room is right off the kitchen so we really appreciate the fact that it runs so quietly. A few features I would like to mention are the display of minutes left in the cycle the blocked-vent sensor and reversibility of the door. The dryer offers a wide variety of cycles/settings in order to address the types of items being dried and the control panel features several cycle-modifier options. However I found the manual that came with the dryer to be inadequate. The owners manual that can be downloaded from the LG website is a much more complete document and in my opinion it should have been supplied with the machine. The website manual is an absolute necessity if one is to understand how this dryer actually works. I do need to mention that the instructions for reversing the door are incomplete but it is fairly easy to figure out how to finish the job. We hope for many years of trouble-free operation.

The dryer on the floor of the home improvement store was not hooked up to electricity so it didnt occur to me that there was no light inside the dryer. Disappointing I have never owned a dryer that didnt have a light inside when you opened the door. The damp sensor turns the dryer off too soon.

I bought this dryer in Dec /22 from Costco and I had to call in for a repair call 3 weeks after purchase.
Once the dryer stopped the clothes inside was still very damp even with a restart of a second cycle.
During the repair call the technician explained that with this dryer using fabric softener is not recommended. It interferes with the sensor inside. He explained that if used to make sure to wipe down the sensor after each use.
Another reason that my clothes was still very damp at the end of the cycle was that I hadn`t noticed that the energy saver came on automatically. Jus turn off the default if you are having this issue.
The technician also explained that I need to make sure to keep good air flow inside and outside.
Now this dryer works really good I stopped using the bounce sheets

I gave my dryer two weeks after realizing it does not dry on the second time using it. The sensor is broken and it stops after 15 minutes with an error playing. I have to only use manual dry and it does not work well. I dont have time to always reset the dryer ever 30 min. It takes allll day long to dry ONE load and my clothes smell awful.

My friend recommended this dryer to me and I love it. It is one of the few energy efficient dryers and when it finishes the cycle it does not scare you with the sound but chimes nicely. One of my favorite features is the Flow Sense. This sensor will light up if your vent from your dryer is not functioning properly. When I got my new dryer this sensor lit up prompting me to have my dryer vent ductwork cleaned out. It was loaded with lint which can be very dangerous. It and I are now happy

I bought this dryer from Lowes. The first one arrived and started smoking. The second one arrived and it showed the vent was clogged. I have a service come out and clean the vent lines but dryer still shows problem. I called Lowes and they said that they dont care after 2 days. I am penalized for getting the problem solved. I called LG and was told one thing that didnt work. The second person said it was installed incorrectly and that they talked to Lowes and they would solve the problem expect a call next day. They never called and I left the country for two months.
