I am very pleased with the features of this freezer. Lots of room , easy to set up. Doors can be switched R or L opening easily. Love the light that let's you know if power is on. Extra special is the alarm sounding if power goes off, door not shut tight, or left open too long. Overall a bargain in features and price. Also American made is a plus!

Thought our old Frigidaire freezer broke- but it didn't.

Our old Frigidaire freezer (in our attached garage) was 15 years old and we thought it broke. What really happened was that we didn't close the door all the way and then left the house for the weekend. We came back and things were thawing and melting. This caused an ice block to form which prevented the air from circulating. So even though we closed the door, the air didn't circulate and the freezer didn't freeze as it should. Being 15 years old we decided to go with the same brand. Once we found out about the ice block, we removed it, and the freezer is working as good as new again. We decided to keep the new one anyway because The new one is a little bigger cleaner looking and much better lighting. So now I have two Frigidaire freezers that are both working excellent. I doubt I'll ever need to buy another freezer again.

What more do you want? I hate entities that wants a review way before they deserve it. Ask me in a year, or even 8 months. Time will tell if it works. This thing is a lot bigger than I thought it would be so I have to go out and buy some more Blue Bell ice cream to fill it.Pros: looks pretty nice. Has a fairly bright green LED lighting up the floor immediately in front of it so I don™€™t even need to turn on the light in the garage when I go to get something. Glad it™€™s in the garage, though, because otherwise would probably keep me up at night. Would be like that Seinfeld episode where the chicken place bathes Kramer™€™s apartment in red light 24/7.Cons: there are indentations on either side of the door instead of protruding handles so there really isn™€™t any kind of visual clue as to which side to open it from. Also a bit loud; whenever you open it and close it it sounds like a furnace firing up. Not a big deal since it™€™s in the garage, though.Too early to really judge it™€™s performance but we™€™ll see how well it lasts in a Phoenix garage.
